Lori says:  An emergency room doctor becomes the obsession of a serial rapist who finds her personality calms the raging voice in his head that drives him to commit rape every full moon. Vincent, a gruff, woman hating detective happens to be our heroine's next door neighboor and becomes romantically involved with her, although he'd rather not be. The mystery itself is not as fully developed as it could have been and you know almost immediately the rapsit's identity. It is the relationship between the two main characters that makes this a riveting novel. A good book for a dreary, rainy day!

Lori says:  This was one of the first paranormal romances I ever read. Barton is an incredible author whose characters will enthrall you. Set in the small town of Cherokee Point,  we are introduced to a serial killer who kills five victims and then quietly slips away to murder again. All of these victims have some kind of paranormal gift. The killer has set his sights on Genny, our psychic heroine, who has visions of his brutal deeds. Hot on his trail and determined to protect Genny, is FBI agent Dallas Sloan. This book is a well woven suspense that will leave you guessing until the end with characters you’ll love.

Lori says:  I have read all of Karen Rose’s books and they are intriguing, suspenseful and keep you reading. What I like the most are that her characters carry from story to story, so that you aren’t left wondering what happened with one of them, especially the ones you get attached to. She is the kind of author who leaves you impatiently waiting for her next novel. Fantastic new author!

Lori says:  A fantastic tale of three women who become a family.  In true Roberts form, she throws in a mysterious family ghost and a wonderfully entertaining and engaging romance.

Yet another dynamite novel from a fantastic author.  Roberts has set the stage for a true psychological thriller in this story that will have you wondering if our heroine is delusional or the only sane person in the book.  My favorite aspect of this book is the fact that you have no idea who the perpetrator is until the end and you’re left thinking you should have known all along, but it was just too obvious.       

Lori says:  Good-girl Carly returns home determined to be bad and she has set her sights on local sheriff Matt.  While the interaction between the two is humorous, it is the underlying mystery of Carly’s stalker that makes this story fantastic and hair-raising.
