JOIN US for an mysterious evening with three local mystery authors that have murder on their mind.       PENNY WARNER has a new series out that is set in San Francisco.   It features Presley Parker, a former SFSU psychology instructor who, after being downsized, becomes an event planner to raise funds for Alzheimer's disease. She lives and works on Treasure Island, and solves mysteries along with an eclectic group of co-workers, a hot crime scene cleaner, and her mother who has early-stage Alzheimer's. In the first book, Presley uses her party-planning skills and insight into abnormal psychology to discover the killer of Mayor Davin Green's financee, found floating in the Bay after a botched wedding on Alcatraz... I can't wait to read HOW TO HOST A KILLER PARTY.   RHYS BOWEN will be telling us about the latest installment of the Molly Murphy series. Molly is an Irish immigrant living in early 1900's New York City. THE LAST ILLUSION is Molly's continuing story.      CARA BLACK'S new book is MURDER IN THE PALAIS ROYALEwhich features female Paris-based private detective Aimée Léduc.   If you haven't read these series yet, I think you are in for a treat.
